Started quite some time ago, the series follows the story of one boy who one day watched his father, mother and sister die in a horrible accident, killed by a space dragon, of all things. Present day and following a year of depression he now falls into a series of incidents which change his life forever and ever and ever. Yes that kind of ever and ever.
He now having hopelessly fallen in love with Toa, the murdered of his family (he knows this), runs around seeking to avenge his love ones by murdering the entire dragon race. In his quest he is constantly annoyed by the Kazuki, a member of the NSDA (anti-dragon organization), who seeks to punish him for stealing his Gio. (Gio is a guy)
Besides Kazuki others seek to separate him form his true love Toa. Blah blah blah…
Dragonaut, is one of the worst series I’ve had the misfortune of stumbling upon. While it starts out okey and boasts decent animation it eventually proves to be as imaginative as a rock. The characters have little to go for, besides boobs equal to one third of their body. Its sad but all the characters in Dragonaut are either gay, lesbians or pedophiles or their overly smart dumb lolis or dead. The show has little going for it and whatever hope you have in it, fear not it will shater. Either your favorite character will die, miserably, or the annoying villain who had 50% of all screen time the last half a dozen episode will shamelessly come back to life, just to poke at you some more.
The animation is good, but the feeling of the show couldn’t be worse.
For the first two episodes there was some good feeling in it but the rest brave similar imagination to that in cratoons.
If you haven’t seen this show. Stear clear from it!
The only thing I can praise it for is it’s knack of coping character designs from other shows.

This is Japanese Classic Horrorfic, so beware.
Compared to normal anime shows the basic ideas and the animation may be frightening by themselves; the animation style may seem horrid, but that is not the point the series tries to bring across, this is a horror after all. For anyone intending to follow this show, I suggest keeping an open mind, the show is not as simplistic as it’s animation would have you believe. A huge focus has placed on the inner horrors that surround us every day.
That said many of it’s good points may not reach the audience if the audience is not prepared to take them in. I’m not really into horrors and particularly not this genre so I’m not going to pursue this show any further.

Welcome to the future,
Baseball is THE sport and aliens are the best at it, with earthlings basically giving up any sort of competitive attitude.
But an old geezer wants to change things and forms the Earth Team. His goal: beat the Intergalactic team and restore humanities’ pride. The Earth team is formed from the strongest, bravest and talented souls on earth. Their greatest asset is a azure haired boy named Hideyoshi, short and skinny, his talent is his lightning speed.
But all is not well, as the earth media makes fools of them time and time again. Well blah blah blah…
The series is interesting, but the plot of space aliens vs humans is just too boring and over the top. Besides that and the small drops in animation from time to time the series is quite good overall.

Here we go back to the American depression, some time in the 70′. The series focuses, or at least seems to focus, on one of the few famous elements we associate with the depression, namely: the mafia. There is blood and of course, lots of gore. (heads blowing up, fingers getting chopped, faces smashed, arms reduced to bones)
While the plot seems to focus heavily on the mafia, or at least people with agendas and attitudes close to that of the mafia, there is a certain feeling of more to it, the actual mafia related events are hardly plot movers. The first episode is told/recited by a certain detective and his assistant as they piece together, analyze and debate the circumstances and situation related to a particular mysterious incident.
For the first part of the show we simply listen to the conversation between Mr. Vice-Director (picture above) and his young assistant, Carol (girl; 14-16 maybe). As they talk, we get flashes of what is the actual plot perhaps. In the second half we see part of that plot in chronological order and understand what is going on, somewhat.
The series is scheduled for 13 episodes.
It’s name, Baccano! is italian for noise. Supposedly the series is meant to be somewhat random in nature by design, with lots of plot threads thrown at us from all directions. Might prove to be a good show, might prove to be a unreasonably complex show, like others I’ve seen. Time will tell. Personally I’m expecting very late answers from this one.

This is a Need For Speed: Underground 2 style anime, with characters in a 80’s look and feel. If you like characters like fuzzy brow from Naruto, you’ll like the designs. The animation is normal 1980 for most of the scenes were the character isn’t driving. When he is driving, we get CGs very similar to Underground 2’s graphics; hence why I mentioned it earlier. For a few moments looking at the city and other elements I was actually pondering: did they copy/paste replays from the game gameplay?
The story was/is relatively unexciting, although perhaps better then envisioned at first sight. Of course in episode two whatever little hope I had got shattered. There is the chance that was just a fluke, but odds say episode one was the fluke.
